Dr. Abraham Solomon, PhD, University of Chicago (2011). Abraham is a recent graduate of the University of Chicago where he studied wave-mean flow interaction in the atmosphere. Using Lagrangian diagnostics for finite amplitude atmospheric waves he has revealed new information about the general circulation of the atmosphere. In addition to fundamental questions about fluid dynamics he investigates the effects of climate change on weather patterns. |
